About the event
In this virtual cohort, you will work on your collection of poems in a classroom-style setting. Throughout the eight weeks, you will (1) read and analyze a book of poetry; (2) learn tips for writing, editing, and compiling a manuscript; and (3) provide and receive workshop-style feedback on manuscripts with your peers. At the end of this session, you will have an understanding of the inner workings of poetry manuscripts, a foundation for putting together your collection of poems, and a support system of fellow poets working on manuscripts.
LIMITED TO 6 MEMBERS PER COHORT. If this session fills up, we will open another cohort based on interest.
Expectations: As a member of this cohort, you are expected to be engaged in class conversations; complete any outside-of-class work (e.g., readings, revisions, discussions); and show up as a respectful, active cohort member.
Prerequisites: It is expected that cohort members have at least 10 pages…
